Based on the principles of Body-Mind Centering®, Authentic Movement and Somatic Psychology

Under the direction of Linda Hartley MA

Welcome

The Institute for Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy has been offering training programmes and courses for personal and professional development in England and Germany since 1990, under the direction of Linda Hartley. The current programme is designed for those wishing to integrate into their practice new approaches to somatic movement therapy, bodywork, and body-mind awareness.  The Institute is ISMETA-accredited (International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association), and courses can be applied towards independent registration.

A new 2 Year Certificate Programme is being offered, taught by Linda Hartley and beginning in September 2010 with Modules 1 - Infant Movement Development and  Module 2 - Authentic Movement & Therapeutic Presence. Information about Year 2 will be available later.

For those who have not taken one of the Institute’s courses before, attendance at one of the
Introductory Workshops being offered in 2010 will be required. These workshops are open to all (Embodiment of Spirit has prerequisites).
